We converted two flats to create a rustic yet contemporary luxury Swiss ski chalet.
The top floor was gutted and totally re-planned to form 4 suites. On the lower floor the living and kitchen were opened up and the fifth bedroom was re-designed as a study and games room. The entrance hall was re-planned to incorporate coat cupboards and a heated ski boot store.
Rustic wood was used extensively as wall panelling and the local figured green Valais stone was worked in Italy to make the bespoke showers and basins. Feature bedheads were designed in the 4 bedrooms to cleverly conceal deep and easily accesses storage. Bespoke timber furniture was designed and made. The fabrics used on the curtains, light shades and loose furniture where selected to complement the overall scheme and tartan was used as a nod to the owners origin
